Just got off the phone with Randy Cromer the TWRA officer over the area and he told me the range will re-open at 12:00 Noon april the 1st. The posted times will be 12:00 noon to dusk.

All TN THR's Randy is getting a list together for people who would like to take a class to be VOL- RO's. Randy is trying to get a guy from the NRA to come to town to do the class. If the range gets shot-up again they are going to push the berms over and make it a food plot.

send me a e-mail for randys number if you would like to talk to him.

Anyone ready for a get-together and do some shooting??????

Moving this over to "Rallying Point" since it is sinking to the bottom in Gen'l.

Have fun, guys.

YAY!!!! It's nice to see some hard work come to fruition. To those of you who helped clean up the range and helped make this possible, I can't say thank you enough.

I'll be moving to Franklin soon, so I'll be quite a distance from the range, but I'm down with taking the class and volunteering pert-time to be a RO.

I'll see y'all there on the 1st.

I am thinking about sunday the 4th of april. That way I can get some honeydo's done on saturday and my better half will not fuss to bad if I take off to go shooting sunday.

Rod, Darrin, and I should be there on sunday with ya.

And Frank....once you move down this way just hollar anytime you are heading that way. Im on your way there....we can car pool and save the environment ;)

I'd love to meet up with some of you fellow nashvillians. I don't know if I'm working that day right now though. I've got a Rock River Arms AR on order and it should be arriving the first week in April (so I'm told).

soon to be a Nashvillian myself. I wish I was free the weekend of the 4th, unfortunately that is our move weekend.

gonna be hectic the next couple of weeks for sure.

I'd definitely be up for doing the Volunteer thing at some point in the near future.

For financial reasons, I won't be making it to Knob Creek this weekend. Instead, Angie and I will be heading up to Illinois and finalizing some wedding arrangements. We'll be back sometime Sunday afternoon. If I get back in time, I might be able to make it. I'm definitly going Thursday though.

Rod, Darrin and I plan to get there around the 11:30 time...hopefully. Knowing us three it will likely be after noon... I want to spend time with my .22's i think. and the fact i dont want to buy any more ammo...so basicly bringing what i have which isnt much more than a few handfuls of stuff and a lot of .22's

I shall make an appearance as well....I have a new (used) .22 rifle that needs to be shot!

So count me in....

Kevin, you and Rod go ahead. I'll meet you at the range.

I'll have a SxS to play with, anyone else want to shoot some skeet?

I wont be able to make it this weekend but would like to hear about other gatherings in the future.
Why was the range closed to begin with? What have they done with it?
