In a showdown over the privacy rights of gun owners, the Illinois State Police are refusing to release a list identifying all firearm permit holders in the state after Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan determined that the information "must" be made public.

What's the chance of them releasing this private information to the public?

Good thing my FOID card has expired, and I have moved out of IL (about seven years ago now).

There is a good reason it's called Crook County. I miss my little home in the Northwest Suburbs, I miss my neighbors, I miss the four seasons, the boating and the sledding.

I don't miss the pervasive corruption (and more importantly, how it was accepted as de rigeur) and I don't miss the mindset of the ruling class.
