I want one. That 5.8 round looks pretty nifty, although I doubt that they will be able to get it to replace everything from the 9mm to the 7.62x54R. I think that's the plan, but look how well we did when we thought the full-auto M14 would replace evrything from the grease-gun to the medium MG we were using at the time...

Stinks for the shooter. Gas and burning powder spraying an inch or to from your face and your right ear (A lot of chinese army vet will need hearing aids). Hot brass constantly smacking your arm. Bullpup stink, ask the brits. 5.8 caliber on the other hand..that makes the type 3 assault rifle sound interesting.
