Choice carry pistols

After a few years of buying and selling different types of concealed carry pistols, this is what I've ended up with. They all serve there own purpose. I have found the H&Ks to be the most excellent pistols. They are ingeniously crafted and are as simple as a Glock to take apart. The Kahr MK Stainless series (MK40 and MK9) are solid and I have never had a missfeed. It is also extremely accurate, just as the H&Ks. I carry the Colt Python when I feel like carrying a Colt Python.

Super collections of C.C.W.'s you have there kashton. A couple of holster questions if you don't mind- first & foremost I'd like to hear your feedback using the Comp-Tac 2-O'Clock with a steel-frame kahr. Do you use it at 2:00 exclusively, or can you effectively slide it behind the hip as well? Also, how are you liking the V.M. II for the P2000 S.K.? Does it fully cover the trigger guard? That's the only thing that's ever held me back from a M.S.'s, because not all his models (I.E. for Kahr) cover the trigger guard fully vs. 1911's & GLOCK etc.

B.T.W. speaking of, I would disagree that these are as simple as GLOCK to take-down, but that's J.M.O. I never made the infamous pin mistake which requires sending something back to Kahr, so no harm no foul. And the only thing I'd change about H.K.'s in that respect is that the pin remain attached like Sig. O.T.O.H. you don't have to pull the trigger like with GLOCK so you have a point there. I like the P2000 best for a C.C.W. anyways, so for me that's a small factor at the end of the day.

All a fantastic bit of Gun making collection you have (well maybe not so much the Kahr's) but also all of your choices are very $$$$ (including the Kahr-for what you get).

HK's are great guns and the Python is a classic.

I dont have pics of my holsters, but i carry them all in a High Noon bare asset. sometimes i use the clipdraw with the kimber.

i love the colt but unless i am dressed really nice i do not carry it much, its just too pretty. you might not be able to tell becuase i suck at taking pictures but if you click on them they will get bigger

i spent a year down south in the military before I got out and when i moved home i can not stand the cold weather either. and i grew up here lol.. its funny how the warm weather makes you hate the cold.

Thank you! My two main carry pistols are the Kahr MK40 and the HK45C. I spend the most time carrying the Kahr just because it disappears on me at 2 O'Clock with a Comp-Tac. It has a very snappy .40 S&W kick whereas the H&K .45 cal HK45C has a much lighter and much smoother feel when it goes off. I love shooting the HK45C. It reminds me of a 1911 except it is just a different style altogether with light weight and a nice Delta Force feel too it. I saw a picture of one with a suppressor fitted onto it and it was niceeee... anyways... the magazine extension on the Kahr helps me get a good grip on it if the regular clips make the gun awkward to grip, but the extra round is nice (5+1 to 6+1). It is every bit as accurate as the HK45C. The Comp-Tac 2-O'Clock works wonderfully with the Kahr. The VMII is a great holster and I have noticed that my pistol rides higher, whereas with a nice Tucker leather "The Answer" IWB (also in the picture), it fits much lower and is slightly more comfortable. It covers the entire trigger guard. I will post pictures when I can.

I just acquired the HK45C (H&K 45 Compact) yesterday and got a chance to shoot it today. It is easily the best pistol I have ever shot in my life. The kick is reduced considerably (advertised 30% recoil reduction on their website)... I mean it is really noticeable in person. It is smooth and accurate, and very reliable. I also love how it can be holstered cocked with the safety on.
