Hello Everyone!

I was looking through Sportsman's today in Gilbert AZ and spotted a very very beautiful what it looked like to be an AR-15 locked up in a glass case. I Went over and checked it out and saw that it was a very unique gun. It was a Christensen CA-15 .223/5.56. Fully carbon fiber, nice nickel looking finish on the upper and lower receiver... Beautiful gun! Very solid looking gun.

I did some research on it just now and found out its fairly new, and there is very little information out on the web about this gun. Here is their website so others can check it out http://www.christensenarms.com/rifles.html. At Sportsman's it ran just under $3000 dollars. I thought was outrageous till I looked at their website and saw that is the true price.

Does anyone have any other information they can relay for me and others about this gun? Im very very interested in it! Just cant find anything about it online! Thanks!!

No real specs posted on their sight? It is flashy, but so is a Hyundai.
Just looking at that photo I see nothing on that gun that makes it worth half what they are charging.
 
Let's see:

Carbon fiber wrapped AR-15 barrel: ~$800
Carbon Fiber Handguard with rails ~$250
+ other AR-15 parts or donor AR

Looks like about a Thousand or so for the Christensen name
 
Ya it does sound to me that its a bit over priced too. It does have a gas piston system as well (that might add what another $300-400?) in their case it adds $1500. LoL

Some of their other rifles are beautiful too but still... $3000-4000 per rifle!

hey Chris, I too am very interested in Christensen's Predator CA 15 but have been reading some aweful reviews on the carbon barrels. Have you gotten any further in your search? If so, would you mind sharing? Thanks Chris. ~Jon
