Taking down our Christmas cards - this one from my wife brought a question to mind.

She gave this one to me as it represents my favorite Christmas movie of all time. It was absolutely uncanny that from one point in the movie to another - it so perfectly exemplified my youth in general and ALL the particulars surrounding my first BB gun in particular.

In any case - it got me to thinking about the hunting or sporting Christmas cards that I so often saw in my youth of the 60's-70's.

Do folk (you or yours) ever give a Christmas card that is remotely related to guns or their use?

Show a pic if you have one, please. I want to know it still exists.

Happy New Year, Y'all!

I haven’t really thought about this. I do recall buying Christmas cards from the NRA years ago that had some images that included guns, like guys returning from a hunting trip and Santa putting a BB gun in a long stocking. At least I think they were NRA cards.

Interesting. Had to edit. It seems Auto Communist doesn’t like “NRA”.

Wife reminded me of these I had bought some time ago and only send to particular friends/family when I want a significant note with fountain pen to accompany the Christmas card. By Hart Merriam Schultz and, while a stretch - they do have a arsine or rifle in the scabbard.
