Christmas Shotguns....

I got a Remy 870 express with the 28" vented rib barrel and laminate stock. I chose the 870 because I like how reliable and accurate they are...plus I turned my "old" 870 into a tactical shotgun for plinking and home defense, so I needed something that looked a little better for hunting and whatnot.

Bought myself an NEF single-shot at a pawn shop right before the holidays -- mainly 'cause I could, and because I've always wanted one of those. The weld on the screw that holds the fore end on broke under recoil (first I've heard of this happening) but the pawn shop owner has graciously volunteered to take it to his gunsmith to have it re-welded. Can't wait to get it back.

That's unusual, SC. Little goes wrong with that platform, ordinarily.

Nick, 870s do not reproduce but they do tend to multiply.
