Milled AK's are considered archaic by militaries. They weigh far too much for what they are. If you want one, I suppose an Arsenal would be a good bet. If you want a nice functional rifle, some sort of Saiga (converted by you or someone else) is the way to go.
To the OP - didn't you just say in another thread that $1100 (approx.) was too much for an AK? It won't change my life whether you get a WASR, Arsenal, Krebs, or anything at all to be honest, but people will be more apt to give you well-intentioned feedback if they perceive you as focused and serious. Just saying.
You have to be a little more specific than that. I know an SA-93 isn't going to typically run the same price as an SAM-7. I have seen SA-93s listed on KSL (local "craigs list") at anywhere from 800 to 950. I haven't ran across any SAM-7s so I don't know the used price on those.
