Out of the Pact PC2, Oehler 35, and Beta, I like the PC2 best. Much more user friendly than the rest. The Oehler has a really cheezy skyscreen setup and the mounting brackets for them are easily broken (already gone thru one). That's why they sell replacements. It also isn't as user friendly to toggle thru shots, etc. Mine would not pick up .22/250 shots in most conditions. When I called Oehler they told me to take a black magic marker and coat my bullets. It didn't work, either. And I paid how much for this Cadillac???

The Beta (Christmas gift) I have misses a lot of shots and the telephone-type cable from the skyscreens to the box loves to come unplugged. It's got a big shooting area, though.

The PACT has a really easy to use box and a sturdy mounting bracket for the skyscreens. Unfortunately it was stolen a year ago. Just replaced it with the PACT XP which I don't think is going to be as good- only used it twice so far. May get the CED next just for the hell of it.

Fella's;

Another satisfied Ohler 35P user. True, the whole thing is costlier than the box chrono's. However, when, not if, you shoot something, the Ohler replacement screen parts are less expensive than the 'box'.

(when you shoot your F1 chrony, they repair it for you at no charge. (not that I have anything against ohler. they've got a fine product.))
