Have had a Shooting Chrony Beta for about 15 years. Haven't had any problems with it, works just fine and I've only shot one diffuser screen.
Started investigating the latest technology. Limited budget so the new Doppler radar unit is out. Happened upon the Competition electronics web site and their ProChrono Digital really appealed to me. Primarily because of the Blue tooth adapter option that enables one to link it to and Ipad or Android and then download data to a excel spreadsheet. Bought it for $219.00.
It arrived a couple days ago, set it up and linked it to my android.
Haven't had a chance to take it out but I did try to get some readings with my pellet gun in the back yard to no avail. Just wouldn't register.
Anybody else have one of these and how has your experience with it been.
I see that the USB module comes with software how does it differ from the android app other than being laptop compliant? Plan to try it with my pellet gun this weekend when I have more time and if I can get it work I'll compare results with my old Shooting Chrony.
