A suspicious man walks into your church on Sunday morning. You have a bad feeling about him, but you don’t want to be judgmental or rude. So you go about your business.

Moments later, he pulls out a gun and opens fire in the sanctuary. You watch helplessly as he savagely kills innocent men, women, and children. What will you do? How will you live with yourself knowing you might have stopped him but didn’t. And when the media arrives, what will you say?

Sadly, most churches don’t plan for this type of horrific event until someone gets injured or killed. Many are not aware, but the church is liable for the well-being of those who are on church property – this is called due diligence or due care. Because church-related violence is on the increase, many churches are now answering God’s burden to establish a safety team to provide physical protection to the flock.

Do you want to set up a security team at your church? Do you have a church security team in place but need basic to advanced training? Is our $3,500 on-site Team Training beyond your budget?

The ITC Church Security Conference is a cost-effective “train-the-trainer” solution. This complete, 2-day seminar offers in-depth training for security team leaders so that they can then return to their church and train their own team members in proper security tactics and procedures.

Over the two days, the seminar will cover more than 60 key concepts to help you secure your church and protect your flock. Please visit our website for course syllabus.

You may send up to 2 people from your church for a flat $450. This includes:
• 2 full days of church security training (10 hours each day) – value $3,500
• FREE 1-year membership in our Interactive Online Training Program – value $300
• FREE copy of The Watchman, our 8-hour church security video –value $399

This represents $4,200 worth of training for $450.

Location: Richmond, IN (One hour East of Indianapolis, 1.5 hours South of Fort Wayne, IN, 45 minutes West of Dayton, OH, 90 minutes West of Columbus, and 1 hour North of Cincinnati)

Dates: July 20th & 21st, 2012

This conference is open to the first 30 churches that sign up.

On April 5th, 2012 in Indianapolis, IN a 19 year old man fired shots in his grandfather’s church. Be sure to visit our website for more details.[/url]

Due to security purposes we will NOT disclose the location in Richmond until the week of the event.

If you cannot make this date but are interested in this type of training, please contact us and we can work with you to make a course happen near you!

Why do you say I'm helpless to stop him? I might not be able to prevent the attack, but I can bring it to a much quicker close. Also, how common is it for a lunatic to just walk in and open fire without first pausing to shout invectives or his incoherent "manifesto"?

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make...are you saying that training isn't necessary?

Brian,

Some of your post is outright false, and probably deliberately so. Ordinarily, I'd move you to the correct forum, but in this case, I don't think you deserve the courtesy. If you want to remove the bogus statements, you're welcome to post in the correct forum.

This ain't it.

John
