JACKSON, Miss. -- A woman opened fire Friday after some men kicked in her door, Jackson police said.

Jackson Police Department is notorious for poor response and the DA gets few convictions. They lock a few people up but they suspend 85% of their sentence... And then ask, "why is jackson, ms crime so bad?" As far as I am concerned the Castle Doctrine is one of the best legislation ever adopted. The legal system in this country is serious failing...
 
The majority of my family lives in different parts of Mississippi, and by listening to them when I go visit it sounds like Jackson has gotten pretty bad as far as crime goes.
 
Told my boss a few weeks ago I was not going to to Jackson, Mississippi without an arsenal and a pay raise of a minimum of 2 an hour and anadditional 30 a day per diem. Figured that would allow me to carry my 12 gauge with me and pay for me a better hotel than the one I got saddled with last time, 4 people where shot/stabbed in the Ramada parking lot the last time I was there for a one month gig. Had my toolbox on my truck ripped off and the contents scattered across the parking lot one night, all while watching from the window and waiting on the cops to show.

My boss sent me to Jasper,Texas instead =), my bathroom in this Ramada has a tanning option lmao.

BTW, my Company has some sort of option with Ramada, we get a 50ish percent discount spending our per diem money there, and the company picks up the rest of the tab I think.

Somebody needs to brush up on their reading skills. I just looked at the Miss. Highway Patrol's site and we are reciprocal with NC. Google their site and click on Firearm Permit Reciprocity.
