I just got back my S&W 432PD from Clark Custom Guns (CCG) and let me tell you, a J-frame can be smoothed up quite a bit. I had the service action job done, and they also polished the trigger up. I did not know that they polish the trigger as well, and its pretty nice having it all smooth. It was well worth the money, and they told me the wait was 6-8 weeks, and I had it back in almost 4 weeks to the day.

I've got a S&W 332 that I'm picking up tomarrow night, and its one without the internal lock. I couldn't pass it up, its in excellent shape, has no lock, and is lighter. I'll be sending that one off next week to CCG as well, and when it gets back there will be a sweet 432PD up for sale;)

J-frames these days have terrible triggers out of the box, but like you said there is hope. My 442 was tuned by Miossi Gun Works and is a thing of beauty. An action job is all a J-frame needs to be a perfect CC piece. :D
