So an old friend just gifted me one of these.
He knows Im fond of derringers so he thought I would like this "DLO" (Derringer Like Object).
Its all there, a little loose but not bad.
Seems to function okay.
.36cal percussion.
From what I can find online, these were sold both as a kit and as a finished derringer.
This one feels like a kit.
It has a serial number, but looks like a coffeetable gunsmith tapped in the pins.
Grips look like scrap wood.
I thought about ripping it apart and trying to make a gun out of it, but not sure if I can still find parts.

Any information, pics, comments, jokes etc are all welcome and appreciated

Shown with obligatory Crown Royal bag ( yep, the gun came in the bag)

I have one of those myself. I assembled it, but I don't think Ill ever fire it. quality of it seems dubious at best.
the spring for the barrel lock lever (under the barrel, by the trigger) kindof pops out at random, and the whole thing is just loose.
Id rather have the crown royal.
