This was my closing post on TFL so let it also be my opening post on The HighRoad.

I found on TFL that I was far from alone in my appreciation for N frames and I am happy to see so many familiar names here.

I present a classic 3.5" model 27 with 110gr JSP Super Vels.

I am a blasphemous boy who just had to metalife his old faded one in early 80s. Mod 27 3.5" rules and supervels rock!:)

Probably the classic of all time!
I have one Super Vel Left.

That is nice, love to get my hands on one of those. Right now I have a model 28 with a four inch barrel.

Phil,

I am envious and guilty of Coveting my neighbor's possession... in that light I clipped the attachment photo and gaze longingly at it (took it from the TFL thread) as a screensaver ... drooool

Someday Baba Louie, someday.

Adios

Greeting's Phil, My Friend In Seattle-

(Laughing Loudly) I will claim kin to you; so you can deed
that S&W moldel 27 over to me, upon your demise!

No, just kidding of course; but that sure is a nice looking
weapon. How much cash will it take to get it; along with
the Super Vel's?

Most likely a keepsake, right? Don't blame you one bit
there pal; as my heart has a deep passion for those
old' Smith & Wesson N-frame's. Enjoy-

Best Wishes,

:what:

Yes indeed, very nice. I hope you don't mind if I put that pic in my screensaver. The longer barreled ones are good too, but these 3.5"ers are something special.

Outstanding. I have a Mod 27 and I got it for a song. I needed to put a few dollars work into it but it is a pleasure to shoot.

that one gets a lot of people's vote for the most agressive looking revolver ever made. It causes a flashback. In the old Orphan Annie comic strip Daddy warbucks was driving his caddy down an alley when a scrofulus hippy ran out and tried to rob him. Warbucks blasted him with a 3.5" 27 saying " Here, have some of these magnums."

27's are sure nice, mine is sure a good shooter, I just wish it had a 4 or 6" barrel - gives me a good reason to get another one!
