I think it's what used to be classicarms. And classicarms was known as a good place.

I've hard one or two complaints about them. However, my experience has been 100% A+. Any questions I've asked via phone call have been answered courteously and helpfully, shipping is prompt, prices are good, packaging is well done. Nothing to complain about in the least.

Prices went up though... e-sarco is still cheaper for RIA 1911's

I've bought a Mosin and a SKS from them, both arrived in excellent/like new condition. My only complaint is that now that they've changed their name I can't access them from work; the word "firearms" in the URL triggers Websense.

I ordered from them way back in the day when they were just classic arms, and had the one big long page for each of a few categories of stuff.

Got an Excellent (still in cosmo) Yugo 59/66 SKS for $130 shipped + a bunch of ammo that was cheap. (tells you how long ago it was)

I was very pleased with their service and the quality of the items I received.

I've ordered three rifles from them in the past year or so (Mosin, SKS, AK) and have no complaints other than their website wouldn't tell me what shipping was going to be, and I didn't get any e-mail updates when the order was shipped or the tracking numbers as most (all?) other places do.

This was before they upgraded the software, so maybe now it's better. The shipping turned out to be reasonable each time but it was almost a deal killer the first time I ordered, as I don't like "trusting" an on-line vendor not to gouge me on shipping charges.


fyi to ClassicFirearms: where I work Facebook/Twitter are monitored or blocked at least as much, if not more so, than "firearms" suspected sites.

You will like the new site. It calculates shipping before you even start the checkout process. Emails are triggered every step of the process from initial order, then packaged from the warehosue, and then a tracking confirmation is spent right as it ships.
