Clean burning powder for 9mm

Cleanliness, IMO, is very overrated!

For 9mm (9x19), I've used 3n37, Power Pistol (mostly), and Unique. I haven't found 3N37 to be worth it. Power Pistol gives me great velocity in my CZ-75 and BHP. Strangest of all, (new) Unique, which I've recently tried has given me my most accurate load, and it is the most accurate in either my BHP or my CZ-75.

FWIW: (AND THIS IS JUST OVER SPEER MAX, WORK UP, THR, NOR MYSELF RESPONSIBLE)

5.9 Gr Unique
124 Gr. JHP (Montana Gold or Hornady XTP)
WSP Primers
OAL (Longest you can, which is short in a CZ-75)
Mixed Brass (and since it is a warm load, good brass!)

Dunno what it is about this load, but another reloader at the range tried it, and it became his best load too. No flat primers, nor signs of pressure in my guns, but work up.

RugerOldArmy. Is this a compressed load? When I put that much powder in a 9mm case it looks like it will be compressed. Even 5.5 grns looks like it's too much.

1911 Terry: Speer doesn't list 5.8gr as compressed with a 124 Gr GD-HP. (Their Max in Speer No. 13) 5.9 isn't all that much more. Unique's granularity may have something to do with what you see. It may not have settled.

I used a 1.121 OAL with 124 Gr Montana Gold JHP
