I don't really reload much in the summer, or spring for that matter. I reload in the fall/winter. My reloading area is in my garage, and I went back there this morning to see how messy it had become. Good grief, what a mess. I spent 2 hours going through boxes, throwing away gobs, restocking, consolidating, and reorganizing. It looks great now, ready for reloading season. I was able to get an accurate count of projectiles, buckets of brass, etc. It's been a rewarding morning.

Sometimes that's the best feeling! My main bench had gotten pretty messy. I've been reloading on a portable Lee reloading table that has a nice small tabletop on top. I'm forced to keep it clean!

When I finally got around to cleaning my main reloading bench, my XL650 had just come back from a tuneup at Dillon. Now it's back to business with the space I need and everything is organized like it should be. I may not be the neatest person around, but when it comes to reloading I'm pretty good about it. Never want to mix powders! unused bullets always go back to where I store them and I always brush off my bench when I'm done with a reloading session. Oh and the tools that I use always get put away. The worst thing is trying to look for an allen wrench that got misplaced at the worst time!

I'm with mdi though... what did you find??? LOL

Yeah, I found some brass and projectiles I'd forgotten about. Each time I do this I streamline a bit. Combine this container labeled "45 - Military Crimp" with one I'd already started, etc. My wife saves 1/2 gallon ice cream plastic containers for me for my bench. I was able to combine more than a few, so I added those empties to my existing stash, which is now about 25 high. Wow, so that's where my extra weight came from this summer. I just ran an errand and went over to it after I parked in my garage just to experience the newness. I'll do this another 5x today. Haha.

mine is beginning to feel like a "kick your way in...kick your way out" situation. Really need to do something about that.

You did good to clean up, take stock, and get prepped for loading! now, get in there and have funMark

Yeah, it's time for fall reloading bench cleaning for me too. As soon as we get the kitchen remodeling complete I'm going to do that next. :banghead:
