Cleaning and lubricating

WD 40 is fine for wiping off surfaces for rust protection, but it's not a good lubricant, and in actions it turns to varnish over time. hdbiker

I use Hoppe's products because they work.

Considering how far a couple large bottles of solvent, copper bore cleaner, and oil go, the cost doesn't worry me.

I don't really care what other people put on their guns. Put em in the dish washer if you want.
