What do you have in your cleaning kits? I have a small tackle box that I keep my gear in, several brushes, jags, eyelets and mops for 22, 45, 9 mm 30.06 and 12g, couple of toothbrushes, patches, pocket knife, oils and solvent and an old electric toothbrush, the 2-3 dollar kind you buy at the store. Works like a charm. I also have a small set of allen wrenches and a multi tool. All nice and neat in a tidy little package, until my son gets ahold of it...OOH Daddies tools!!! Then its time to start all over.

Hey I know what you mean about Daddy's tools . Though it is usually my daughter that messes them all up not my son .

I have a.50 can full of variouse do dads .

I am looking for a good AR butstock kit curently to keep with the rifle . I also have a nice little portable kit for hand guns that I can't remeber the name of but everything fits inthe handle for it . I have only seen the one .

Yep, I use a tool box from Akro-Mills. Has two removable boxes on the lid that are divided perfectly to carry all the little cleaning gadjets and tools I need, the inside tray holds rods, cleaner, screwdriver, forends (contender) and the bottom holds my ear muffs, targets and a little ammo.
In the shop I have a cradle box I made to hold rifles for cleaning, this holds the bulk of the patches, extra brushes and such. Both work great and cost a fraction of what they want for a bona fide 'range/cleaning' box

Which cleaning kit do you mean? I've got a main cleaning kit in a large tool box, plus the overflow of stuff in another large tool box in the garage, plus more stuff in boxes, plus...

This stuff multiplies during the night.

Kleen Bore makes what they call the PocKit handgun cleaning kit that fits into a very nice handle.

I have a Doskocil single gun carrying case for each of my handguns and I keep a PocKit in each one.
I just picked up enough to do that when a local shop had a retirement sale.

I've gone to using the Plano 737 tackle boxes to hold cleaning stuff and gun tools. Plenty of space in them, and small trays for parts.

Kit wise, if there is a tool worth having, gotta get it. Some are worth it, others not. AR 15 tools took up one entire box, rifle tools another, pistol and so on.
