How would be the best way to clean the tarnish/corrosion off of 80pnds of 223 62grain copper coated steel core bullets that got wet ? Used vinegar with salt and they look good before the dry. Then tried to tumbled some without much luck. Just hate to load and shoot without cleaning them up or would it be ok?

Without a pic it's hard to say.
If they're just a little tarnished, it won't hurt to just load 'em up & shoot 'em.

A citric acid bath will take care of it in about 20 minutes. You can also use Lemishine, which you find in the housewares section of most stores. It's used to clean dishwashers, and the main ingredient is citric acid.

Hope this helps.

Pop 'em in the tumbler with some cob and Nufinish car polish and run them for an hour or so. Should look like new.

Send me about 5 pounds of them so I can help you figure out the best cleaning method!!!

That ahppened to me this hunting season, a wet one we had. I used a tad bit of car wax, and put them in my Lee trimming shell holder in the drill. takes a few seconds to polish them up like new.
