I'll be over to visit you as soon as I finish cleaning my car and truck motor, although it may be awhile, probably no need to wait up for me.
I drove the truck to work, wife drove her car to lunch. No matter what anyone says, I don't see how it could hurt to pull the heads and clean all the carbon off the top of the piston and valves every time I use them. I was going to mow the yard, but haven't had a chance to reassemble the lawnmower engine since the last time I used it.
Is it necessary? No.
Does it hurt anything? No.
It's your time and your guns, do whatever makes you happy. If you're not having problems when you're shooting, everything is fine.
