I dont like the extra powder or dust everywhere when getting the clean shells out of the tumbler. I have a bagless vaccume. Slowly sucked the media into the vaccume and it seperated the dust and the media and VOUALAA! No dust. At least for a while....

Does your vacuum have a filter high tech enough that the exhause isn't creating a problem with containaments all over? I believe this takes a HEPA or better filter.

I just throw a used fabric sheet in my tumbler, no problem with dust

Pretty muchl I use is used dryer sheets. Dust is more a prob with walnut for me and not much of an issue with walnut.

That makes a lot of sense -- Dust is more of a problem with walnut and NOT MUCH OF AN ISSUE WITH WALNUT.

Perhaps capreppy meant to say it's not much of a problem with corncob?
FWIW, the only medium I have ever used is corncob and there's still a fair amount of dust.
