In the recent July issue of Handgunner I noticed in one of the ads for the Thunder Ranch DVD series that Clint Smith's Les Baer has a design either engraved or etched or something on top of his slide. It's both in front of and behind the ejection port.

It's pretty hard to make out the design with my poor scanner but if you have the newest Handgunner magazine it's on Page 79, top-to-bottom, right side with the heading: Clint on Vehicle defense.
I really would like to see what exactly the design is and how it was done. I'm assuming it might be a nice Thunder Ranch logo or maybe just some scroll type design. I have a Les Baer TRS and might be interested in doing something similar but to my own personal preference; and I don't think I've seen something like that before, either.
