I mentioned in another thread that Bill Clinton banned importation of Chinese firearms.

Then I realized, aren't Padner firearms (like the Padner Protector) Chinese made?

Was that lifted, or is there somehow a way around it?

And now there's the Obama import ban-

Last week (6/5/2014), the White House squashed a deal for Century Arms to purchase $30 million worth of M1 Garands from South Korea, sighting a "common sense executive order to keep these weapons off the streets". As a result, the company was forced to lay off 41 of it's employees. It's looking like Garands will be the next hot commodity for gun collectors.

The FedGov bans the importation of "munitions" from the ChiComs.

"Sporting" shotguns are not considered "munitions".
