Dubai's 'Boycott Israel' Sheik Funded Bill Clinton

Former President Bill Clinton has accepted at least $1.6 million from the United Arab Emirates, including $300,000 from a Dubai sheik who adamantly backs the country's controversial boycott of Israel.

On Jan. 17, 2002, Mr. Clinton was paid $300,000 to address the Science, Technology and Arts Royal Summit in Dubai at the invitation of Crown Prince and U.A.E. Defense Minister Sheik Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Less than three months later, Sheik Mohammad urged the United Nations to approve the use of force against Israel to halt what he called the Jewish state's "butchery" of Palestinians, according to London's Financial Times.

Mr. Clinton's benefactor called for then-Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to "stand trial before the International War Crimes Tribunal," where Sheik Mohammad said he would "have a prominent place in the list of world's killers, terrorists and criminals."

The Dubai sheik then reminded that "Arabs have a wide room for political, diplomatic and economic moves and have the right, at least, to revive the Arab economic boycott to Israel."

Mr. Clinton accepted another $300,000 from the Dubai regime for a speech in 2005. And his presidential library in Little Rock has collected seven-figure sums from several Arab governments participating in the anti-Israel boycott, including Dubai.

In September 2005, the New York Sun reported:

"When the library opened last year, a computer display in the exhibit halls included information on some, but not all, donors. The Saudi Royal Family and the governments of Dubai, Kuwait, and Qatar all gave $1 million or more."

The paper noted that after it published a previous list including Mr. Clinton's Arab donors, "the computer display was shut off. It has not been restored."

On Thursday morning, NewsMax called the offices of Mr. Clinton, Sen. Hillary Clinton, Sen. Charles Schumer, Rep. Peter King and the Anti-Defamation League in New York, inquiring about the appropriateness of Mr. Clinton taking so much cash from a country that boycotts Israel.

None of the calls had been returned by press time.

Yup. I read that a day or two ago. We give the ex-President a pension; I would have no problem with making a law prohibiting him from consulting to foreign governments, even Canada.

But before you get all comfortable because the Republicans are in the majority and the Clintons are Democrats, Bob Dole is on DPW's payroll too, as a lobbyist.

Michael Moore is right that there's too much coziness among people in power internationally. He's lying when he tries to paint this as a Republican problem, though.

Bob Dole is not an ex President. It's bad enough that an ex Senator be in the pay of a foreign country, for an ex President, who still collects his pension and is guarded by the Secret Service AND who has a spouse who's a Senator and a Presidential hopeful, is inexcusable. And I don't care if it says R or D in front of their names, it's inexcusable.

Just what the fornication will we think of any legislation Hillary authors, supports or votes on, when her husband is in the pay of a foreign country? And if she, God help us, gets elected President we'll have a person who's in the pay of a foriegn power in the White House and who has the ear of the President, even into her bedroom, if these two even sleep in the same room again, just thinking about makes me slightly ill.

And Micheal Moore being right is well...even a clock that's broken is right twice a day.

As another little "make real conservatives' heads pop off" factoid...consider the fact that Dubai Ports World is not a private company at all. It's a state-owned company. Nationalized. Nothing to do with the free market.

So they want to sell our ports to...um...a nationalized state industry. They used to call that "socialism".

And could we buy a port there? Hell no..it's against their rules!

Head hurt, yet?

3rdpig-

True, Bob Dole didn't make it to President. But his wife Elizabeth is ALSO a sitting Senator.

And I certainly despise the Clintons more, but that doesn't make this any more kosher.

No wonder Daddy Bush loves the guy. He's an operator, a real player.

W.'s problem is that he's a naif next to both of them.

The whole situation is really pathetic and disgusting.

Lovely. Dole and Clinton getting money from the UAE, while their wives are in positions of power. Remember, there IS a difference between the two parties, everyone. There must be...right?

Once you discard your honor and integrity, the rest is easy

It is an outrage that anyone who held the positions that Dole and Clinton did are pimping for a nation that has served as a financial conduit for Al Qaeda and has been bed buddies with Al Qaeda. This borders on "Giving aid and comfort to the enemy."

Clinton made $35 million by running his mouth and writing a book his first year out of office, yet that is not enough - he has to stoop to whoring himself for a nation that is at best a two-faced "friend" of the United States. The scum that run the UAE government are working us, thanks to the asinine laws Senators have passed and Presidents have signed - and laughing all the way to the bank.

It would be nice if "The Government" would just issue an edict so that We The People would know what's what and not have unrealistic expectations. It could be short and to the point, such as:

"Senators and ex-senators as well as present and former occupants of the Oval Office are hereby declared to be above the law and above any and all expectations of integrity and honor held by the unwashed masses known otherwise as The American Sheeple.":fire: :fire: :fire:

Do you suppose the socialists in "The Government" want to disarm The People out of fear that one day they might have had enough and would use their arms to bring justice to the traitors who have sold out The People for their own gain of money and power?

Just a thought from a neutral observer...

Way to go Bill!!! Bring some of that oil money back home!!! First time I've ever thought he did something right!!! I can just hear him now. "Hillary, I did not take any of that money, not one time, from Dubai, Dubia UAE"!
