I bought a Mitchells Lugar: the clips are very hard to load and the bullets stick in the cilps. Has any one delt with this kind of problen. The gun has hardly been used.

If the magazine springs are new they sometimes take a bit of use to break in. Something to do in front of the TV, just load and unload them.

If the rounds are sticking that could be an out of spec mag or it might be dirty/gummed up or just rough inside. The loading/unloading cycle might help as well. I'm not familiar with the Luger's mag but it couldn't hurt to give it a good scrubbing. You might also contact Mitchell's about the problem or look online or at Krasne's Triple K for additional magazines.

Magazines are a disposable item in the grand scheme of things, you should always have a few more than you "need" on hand.

Assuming no mechanical defect or debris or rust in the magazine, this might well be normal. The Luger has a very strong magazine spring; it has to be due to the design of the rest of the gun (steep feeding angle, fast-moving toggle). When they were issued, a loading tool was included.
