I am looking into buying a a Surefire 6P Defender for daily carry in addition to my pistol, knife, and OC, but I do not like any of the holstering options I have seen so far--I want to carry bezel down and draw upward to maximize usefulness in a defensive situation, while reducing as much bulk as possible. So, I got the idea to attach a Clipdraw to the shaft of the flashlight and carry it on my belt (weakside). Here's my question: Will the Clipdraw be mountable to the curved surface of the flashlight shaft? Or is there a flat spot on the shaft that will allow such a set-up? I know I'm not the first person to think of this.
