When I dry fire my CM9 with no snap cap, the front sight drops down slightly when the trigger breaks - it is very slight but I can see it. No matter how good my grip is and how SLOW SLOW SLOW I press the trigger - there is slight movement and the front sight drops. When I use a snap cap - there is no movement. I am able to get perfect follow-through.
Does anyone know what is going on with this?
I mean besides the striker hitting something like the snap cap faux primer, what would cause this?
