kinda looks like sumptn......

One thing I've noticed in this thread is how many are basing their opinion of the gun on looks.

I remember when the Glocks hit the US market. Oh man, people were completely freaked out over that.

Plastic? Where's the metal? Where are the wood grips? It's a piece of junk!

The Sig 556, FN PS90 and FS2000 are the beginnings of the polymer carbine/rifle market.

Get used to the plastic, folks, it took over the handgun market, it's coming for rifles like it or not.

Cost, durability, ease of manufacturing...... It's a polymer world.

this is the first rifle I've ever owned that allows me to use my left eye.

Can you elaborate on that a little? Are you shooting right handed? How can you sight with your left eye? I guess I probably don't understand how that gun is supposed to be shouldered.

The rifle is totally ambidextrous, and the empties eject out the bottom so shouldering it on either side sacrifices nothing.

Charging handles on both sides, mag release on both side, rotary safety in the middle, bottom eject.

Lefties should love this thing.

Doesn't Bob Vila sell those?

Gbran has the right idea. He used his to nail together those wooden cabinets in his workshop. I'm doing some home remodeling and putting up drywall, can I get one of them at Home Depot or Menard's? ;)

Whoa!! Some of you guys deserve a thorough thrashing with a wet cleaning rod for your comments on Shipwhrecks choice.Figure in the handling , accuracy , FNH reliability , and sheer coolness factor , and its fine little carbine. Congrats Shipwreck. And I stand by to correct my previous post. I would like to have one as a companion piece to my FiveSeven pistol.

Waaah! Someone on the internet made fun of someone else's gun! Waaah!

 Some of you guys should read more threads. This happens all the time and it doesn't really matter.

As stated above - it is an ambi gun.

Now, as I stated, I am right handed but left eye domiant. With the stock sight, I still can't use my left eye while shooting right handed. But with my EOtech on top, which sits a tiny bit higher. If I choose too, I can use my left eye and hold the gun right handed.

Yeah, and?

As long as we can thrash whomever starts with "C'mon - U know you want 1!!

That's in there with the whole 1337 23 sounds leet teh n00b noob pwn elite l33t lol pwned hacker owned uber omg crap.

Hint: Look elsewhere on the THR forum for the "Ultimate Shotgun" thread.

I've handled and shot 'em. I still don't want one, and if somebody gave me one, I'd sell it. I do, however, like the ballistics of the 5.7x28, especially each time I shoot my .22 K-Hornet rifle. ;)

congrats man! i love mine. i got one with a flot top rail and mounted a nice little scope on it. throw my laser on for short range and you have one nice little shooter. i get 1.5" groups out to 100 yards off a bench. standing i get 5" groups. i do advise that you start reloading for it. i get my brass from a friend at macdill airforce base and with that i am running about 18 cents a shot. realy comes in handy when you can fire 500 rounds in about 20 mins with 5 mags :)
