The GCA is the Garand Collector's Association.

On the form: You have to sign that form in the presence of a notary who then signs it verifying that you are in fact the person who signed the form. You probably need to show the notary ID. Normally, someone in your office is a notary, you can use a notary at the bank where you have your account, or some other location. Often they will charge you a few bucks per signature. At your bank, they may not if you have an account there.

Can you order an M1 Garand from the CMP through a gunstore? If so, will they most likely charge you for doing so?

I believe that you still have to meet all the requirements, they are not wholesalers and are not selling guns for people to make money off of.

If you meet all their requirements, why not order from them and have it shipped to your door? The CMP gets around the need for a FFL.

I didn't know about the GCA, that's good if I can't join the CMP affiliated club (it's pretty expensive and I'm at school most of the year) then I can do that. The club lets nonmembers shoot in matches.
