I hope no one is surprised, although listening to the media tell lies is quite frustrating.
 
The ignorance is astounding. Well, I guess it used to be. It's all too commonplace now.
 
The info babe initially referred to straw purchases as "legal."

She makes up for using lying phrases like "military assault weapons" by bringing up the only solution, i.e. re-legalization of plants/substances for formerly free citizens.

AMEN Jake, but please be accurate and say RE-legalize. That subtle difference means a lot. It's the reason we can't get any traction. People hear the word "legalize" as if it would be something new when all we want is to REstore liberty to this land.

Oh and by the way, re-legalization of liberty would do a lot more than "curtail" the drug gangs/cartels/turf wars, it would END them-probably in a matter of weeks as the profit motive was literally erased with the stroke of a pen. I'm always amazed at how 99% of the population has totally forgotten history, specifically prohibition part I. When alcohol was RE-legalized, the gangs, turf wars etc vanished almost immediately. I think the obviousness of this plus the effectiveness of it is why the truth frightens so many people. Plus the fact that government is very violent in the way it protects it's ill gotten power.

I think it was Jefferson who said that few men desire liberty because it requires effort and courage (paraphrasing).
 
Yesterday I pointed out to some anti-gunners on an online forum that the "assault weapons" legally available to the average American are nothing more than semiauto guns with high capacity magazines, virtually no different from a semi-auto hunting rifle except for magazine capacity, and BATF's own statistics showed no drop in firearm-related crimes during the Clinton ban, and also showed that "assault weapons" were among the least used weapons in violent crimes before, and after the ban. Despite my being very careful to word my post so it didn't single out any particular posters in that forum or contain any unacceptable language, the moderator deleted it. If ignorance is bliss, the anti-gunners must be on cloud nine all the time!

Actually there is another big difference: "assault weapons" look vewy vewy scawey. Never underesimate the "scawiness factor" when trying to reason with an anti freak.

..and as others have stated: CNN and BS? Ya don't say?
 
Send CNN an email saying you've had enough of their BS and will be switching to Fox News (they HATE Fox), and of course don't watch them. Wife even had enough of them and we locked them out on the set, so we wouldn't even land on them surfing.:cool:
