I love my C/F and R/F's but now that I have owned and shot Cap and Ball Revolvers, I am SO hooked!
I always read the BP articles first in my magazines!
Totally love my Piettia "Issue" Navy, the 5 1/2 Remington '58 and my Piettia Police .36!

I think my b/p revolvers have been the most interesting and enjoyable shooting experience that I have had since I burned out on shooting trap. I love it too.
I may soon add a full length '51 or '60 to my '58s and '51Marshall.

Back in 1976, I know some here go way further back, but I bought a 58' Remington kit from Montgomery Wards my first firearm. Made a lot of mistakes with it but I learned a lot.

Since then I have always owned a black powder revolver mostly '51 Navy squarebacks, but recently went to the 1860 Army because of the bigger front sight. Yea, its in my blood, also.

Retired now, gotta save for a rifle. Darn fixed incomes anyhow!
Glad I have all my guns already.

I've owned about (lost count) 38 C&B revolvers since my first one back in 1969. I always keep about 15-16 "just in case". I shoot modern stuff but the C&Bs & rifled muskets give me a sense of history. Plus is fun to impress others at the range with BOOM, flame, smoke & sparks.

You can have a lot of fun and it doesn't cost much. With a centerfire or now even rimfire, it's like throwing silver dimes out the window as you drive down the road.

Been shooting BP for a little over 2 years now, most fun i've had since i got my first .22 when i was 12.

I asked my family physician if there is an immunization or treatment for black powder addiction. Alas, I have added several flintlocks and percussion rifles and pistols since she said there was no cure.:banghead::)
The addiction could be lethal if my wife finds out about my latest black powder purchase.
