Went down to Cody today to visit the museum. Got there about 11:30 and we were the third car in the lot. For a while I had the entire gun museum to myself. I'm close enough that I can pick sections and view them in detail and check out another section next time around. I concentrated on Browning today.

If you can go in the off season it makes for a visit without a lot of pressure.

Of course the roads can be a concern. Someone rolled a pickup into the barrow pit on the way back home. The road was so slick I almost fell just walking across it to see what, if anything, I could do while waiting for official help.

When we went to the Cody museum the gun museum was closed for a remodel. What a disappointment, the rest of the museum was great though. This was probably about 20 years ago.

I've been there a couple of times, its better than the Smithsonian in D.C. gun collection. If your going to see Yellowstone be-sure to make a side trip their.
