That's how I remember Col. Cooper. I did the API 499 the same year the video was made, and had done the API 250 the year prior. Had the good fortune to win the 499 shoot off on Saturday against a former Gunsite instructor auditing the class. Col. Cooper was underwhelmed with both of us. Said something to the effect that we both shot like crap, but I just got a little less shook. Didn't help my momentarily inflated ego one bit

Thanks for the video. Always enjoyed reading his column in Guns and Ammo magazine. Learned a lot of about guns and a lot of new words from the Colonel's writings.
