This weekend is a busy weekend in the world of collegiate rifle competition. All NCAA Rifle programs will compete in a Collegiate Sectional Championship. A few of those matches, listed below, will have their electronic targets streamed live online, accompanied by a live blog or webcam. I have to work elsewhere tomorrow, but will answer any questions you leave on this thread as soon as I get to them.
Each team's score this weekend will count for 50% of their year end national ranking. The other 50% comes from the top 3 scores shot earlier in the season. The top 8 teams will be invited to the NCAA Rifle National Championships hosted by Columbus State University at Ft Benning, GA the second weekend in March.
Smallbore (.22lr) is shot at 50ft from 3 positions, prone, standing and kneeling, 20 shots each position. Competitors are given a block time of 2:15 to complete all 60 shots plus position changes. The target is the NRA/USAS-50 with a 10 ring .76mm in diameter, 9 ring 4.12mm, and 8 ring 9mm in diameter.
Air rifle (.177) is shot at 10m (~33ft), all from the standing position. Competitors are given 1:45 to fire 60 shots for score. The target is the International Air Rifle Target with a .5mm 10 ring, 5.5mm 9 ring, and 10.5mm 8 ring.

The Collegiate Sectional being held this weekend at The Citadel will be streaming its electonic targets online. Commence fire is 9am Saturday for smallbore and 9am Sunday for air rifle.
Here is the message from Citadel Head Rifle Coach William Smith:
"I plan to have our targets streaming on the Citadel Athletics web site Saturday and Sunday. You will need to go to (www.citadelsports.com) and locate the Bulldog insider on the lower right side of the site. Click on subscribe and you will see a free login for the rifle match. Wm."
