Okay I was going through my chokes for my shotguns (got layed off so I thought wwhat a great time to get organized). I had all my chokes in the canvas bags but went and picked up some of the MTM choke holders. As I was going through and putting them in the appropriate new holders I ran across one I didn't recognize. Hopefully you guys can help?

I states Colonial Arms acros it and underneath that is states Improved Cylinder..

there are no marking across the top other than the two to remove it..

I have tried all my wrenches and none seem to fit it. I have tried my Beretta, 12 and 20 Browning, 20 Remington, 20 Ylidiz, and my old Auto 5 Browning.. None seem to fit!!!

Any ideas how to indentify this one? Measurments are as follows

It is 2.028" long and OD is .8135 and ID is .7135

That's about the OAL of a flush fit RemChoke tube.

Where are the threads on this one- at the back, or at the front (muzzle)? Threads on a RemChoke tube are at the back.

.7135" ID sounds like a 12 bore, nominal bore diameter should be .730" for a 12. ImpCyl is usually given as .010" constriction, that sounds a little tight for an ImpCyl tube.

Pictures would help... otherwise, Colonial's site is at http://www.colonialarms.com/ , if you want to look around there.

From the measurements you gave, it's definitely a 12 gauge choke tube. It's probably a Beretta choke.

The Beretta Mobil choke barrels are about .722" diameter. Improved Cylinder is generally about .008" to .010" constriction (depending upon manufacturer). So, a choke diameter of .713 would be a constriction of .009".

Yep, I'm betting that it's a Beretta Mobil choke which would fit some of the 300 Series Berettas such as 302, 303, 390 and some of the earlier 391's. It will also fit some of the Beretta O/U's such as 682, 687, etc.

Don't think it fits my Beretta.. my Beretta has the threads at the top..

these measurements were taken with calipers so they are pretty accurate

The Beretta Mobil chokes have the threads near the muzzle end of the choke, so those obviously aren't Beretta Mobil chokes. I didn't know that about the threads on your choke tube when I posted my post above.

The picture looks like a Remington choke, but I've got some Remington IC chokes and they measure .718" to .719".

the only remington I have is my 1187 12 gauge .. I don't ever remember buying any chokes for it other than a remington turkey choke..but this one does seem to fit it.. just don't have a wrench to fit it

Just use a quarter- everyone else does 8^). Be sure to use choke tube ube as well, I have a couple of bottles of the brand that Colonial markets and it works well. I have a sneaking suspicion that any commercial anti-seize lube will do too.

Yup, I've used commercial grade Never- Seez for many years. It works great. That choke sure looks Remington. .713 might be a light modified.
