Magpul held a "Boulder AirLift" for Colorado residents to get these standard capacity mags into the hands of Colorado residents. A year ago, the same people could have been called citizens, but now residents seems much more appropriate.
The "ban" in Colorado begins July 1, 2013.
The law is horribly written, in haste, to generate tax revenues and implement a partial generational confiscation of firearms. Magpul's own lawyers outlined the many issues with this law in a letter to Governor Hickenlooper on March 15, 2013.
