Hey all I just acquire a Colt 1903 from my Grandma. And its a pretty neat little pistol. It has some pitting and such but overall not too bad. It needed Grips, a mag, and a rear sight. I found some reproduction grips that work well enough for now ( I would like to eventually see if I can find the real deal) as well as a reproduction mag (again eventually would like the real deal). The part I am having a hard time finding is the rear sight. If anybody can assist it would be much appreciated. I don't want to devalue the pistol.

I am also on the hunt for a magazine for my Browning FN 1922 .32 ACP

1903 Colt Pocket Models used the same rear sight dovetail cut-out as the larger .45 Government Model made during the same time period. If you can't find a better solution check out Numrich Arms Co.'s extensive supply of sights. They might also have a magazine for your 1922 Browning.

Thanks Fuff. I have a email notification set up on that site if any parts come in but could not locate what I needed. If there are any other sites that I may have some luck with? Would it be a better choice to let the gun be?

Thanks RC I will give it a go. I am assuming it would be best to have a smith install the sight if I can ever find one.

1922 Browning, this pistol will accept the .32 or .380 magazines interchangably. Both work fine in the .32
+1 on Jack First having a Colt rear sight, chances are they have one in stock but they are $$$ and will "jack" you good on shipping charges.

Well crap, no luck with Jack's either. Guess this search will take longer than expected

Many old gun projects are like that. Persistence is the key, just keep checking back with the vendors listed above every few months and you will eventually find the parts that you need.

It will be worth it.
