Colt 1911 age and value?

There is a Colt 1911 coming up at a local estate auction, serial number 534766.

Can someone help me with it's age and value?

That should help on the age but I know nothing of its value.

Blue Book says late 1918.
Value depends utterly on originality and condition.
A WWII-Korea era arsenal rework with some A1 parts and parkerized finish like mine is worth a few hundred dollars. A pristine Black Army would be worth some thousands.

You gotta be careful about auction fever and you have to KNOW EXACTLY what you are buying.
