Guys often report when they get a problematic 1911. I'm happy to report that a recently acquired Colt LW Government model ran 200 rounds out of the box without issue.

I like mine a lot as well. I checked out a lot of 1911s and felt that the Lightweight Government had the best overall fit and finish, build quality, and handling and balance characteristics of the other guns in its price range.
