Very nice (and valuable) old colt. Just remember NOT to shoot 38 supers in it. Since 38 auto ammo is rather hard to find, I pull the bullets on super ammo and drop the charge by 40% and re-assemble. If this does not cycle the gun you can raise the charge gradually until it does. Make sure you put new springs in it before shooting, they are cheap ins.
Thanks for all the comments. I have several boxes of .38 ACP (not the Super 38ACP) which works fine in my 1915 British proofed .38 ACP Pocket Model pistol shown in my other post. I'll use the modern .38ACP if I decide to shoot the 1902 Military Model. Here's a box of vintage .38 ACP to display with this pistol.
