Colt 6720 VS Colt 6920

Which rifle would you pick as a general purpose AR 15 and why, Colt 6920 or Colt 6720?

Both are excellent choices in my opinion, and either should serve you well.

I'd say 6720. Does most anything a 6920 would and is a bit lighter. And not just that it's lighter, but also where (balances a bit better I think)

6720. The Govt. profile barrel makes no sense.

I went 6720. As mentioned, a gov't profile barrel makes no sense (unless you have an M203 grenade launcher). It's skinny where it should be fat and fat where it should be skinny.

The 6720 loses nothing to the 6920 except weight.
