Colt Cobra 3" shrouded - value?

Saw one locally for sale from an individual. Colt Cobra, .38 Special, 3" barrel. Looks like a mid '90s gun, based on the blue Colt case. Looks to be new in the box. Seems like a fairly scarce gun. Ideas on value?

I saw one like that Cobra at last January's gunshow. No box, 95% condition, asking $750. I dickered him down to $650.......but saw a 3" 13-3 I wanted more, for less money.

Wow! Nice and scarce revolver. Assuming original condition, nib and with the box, $750.00 would be a starting point imo-and up; maybe way up.

Well, I bought it, and it is truly new in the box. All papers and the outer cardboard sleeve for the Colt blue case were included. The gun is immaculate. The seller said he bought it new in the early to mid '90s and it has been in his safe ever since.

Purchase price = $325.

You STOLE it. I've never seen a 3 inch shrouded Cobra. I'd say $750 for insurance purposes at a minimum.
