Mfg. 1964. In my area would sell for around $475 to $600 at gun shows depending on condition and 1st day or last day of show. Good carry gun and good shooters.
It appears to be a lightweight Commander with the finish removed from the aluminum receiver. Production began in 1950, and ceased in 1976.
The gold plated small parts are not original, nor are the grips. The aluminum of the receiver was called "Coltalloy®". It was the first time aluminum was used in a big bore receiver.
The last one I saw for sale in my area was priced at $850 at a gun show. I looked it over, condition was original, but so-so. I opted to buy a Colt New Agent instead.
