Got a shot at a 4" lawman original colt grips with a small chip on the bottom of one panel blueing is about 97% price is $400.00 OTD I am not a huge Colt guy got one other. How is this price? How are the fixed sights on these colts pretty accurate?

Is a lawman the same as a Trooper with fixed sights?

Basically the same as a Trooper Mk III. It does have the same action to the best of my knowledge. And like the Trooper Mk III, prices are all over the place, as in 400 to 900, or up. I suspect the high priced ones never sell.

have it tagged at $400.00 and would sell it for between $350.00 and $375.00
Not around here. :(

not a big fan of the trooper MKIII
I love my Trooper Mk III. I thought I wanted a Colt .357, and finally got one, but I could not love it and traded it for a 4" nickle S&W 57. I do love my Officers Model Match .38 Spl, and OMM .22 modded to .22 Mag. :)

The 2" Lawman is a pretty Kewl .357 Snub and commands a $100-200 more than the 4". The grips for MKIIIs are easy and cheap to come by. If one was to put the larger Trooper Mk II grips on or a grip adapter on the Lawman service grips (the snubby is different)on a 4" Lawman you would have a heavy barrel fighting .357 for sure. As long as these MKIIIs are not dry fired with out snap caps they should last a lifetime.

400 OTD is a really good price. My guess is it more likely a 500 dollar gun.

I do not say that from experience around here...you never see them.

Only know from being a gun auction junkie

Lawman

I'd buy it in a second if it was around here in a shop. I have a soft spot for Colts and the Lawman and Metropolitan are right behind the original Trooper on my list.

I think it is a fair price.

I have 2 Lawman Colt, a snubby and a 4" one and they are good shooters. Like the Colts the best. If you like it-buy it as it will only go up in price.

The price is Right..

A few weeks ago I got into a Law Man MKIII 4" with average wear for $425.00, on a FTF buy.
I am happy with my buy+like said-will only go up on value..Bill.;)

What has been said is pretty much on the money. I'd gladly give 400 bucks out the door for a nice, original 4" Lawman. I'd rather have it than an $400-$500 .357 on the market today.
