Colt M1911 Gov't Model Date Question

Can anyone either let me know the year of manufacture of Colt Gov't Model
Ser. #250XXX-C or point me in the rigth direction to find out?

Augustwest, based on the serial number information you've provided your Colt 1911A1 was made in 1951. Hope this helps!
