i just got a colt officers model .38spl with a 7.5" barrel, needs cleaned up as it looks like it layed in a car trunk for years. the insides are in good condition but the out side is a mess, however the grips are in very good contion. as its not a collector any more and the price was very, very good. i may have it glass beaded and reblued and use it as a shooter. eastbank.

Looks aren't everything and I like that bead front sight. Let us how it shoots.

I have the same model. Made in 1925 85-90%. Non original grips. Great shooter!

One thing to check if you haven't already, make sure you don't have carry over in the cyclinder . Mine did,had to have the bolt stop and rebound lever replaced. Locks up like a Colt should now.
