colt officers model match (22lr)

ok, I was at a local show this weekend and one of the dealers had a late 1950s OMM in 22lr. overall, in vg-excellent condition (finish) with more than a faint drag mark on the cylinder, but not deeply tracked, good lock-up, ugly aftermarket target grips, no box, no papers. What would be reasonable for this (he wanted ~800).

In the past couple of months I've come across two of the OMM's in local stores. Both in .22LR and both in very good shape. They were also 1950 era models. One was priced at $550 and the other was $600.

yeah, I just did a quick look on GB at the completed auctions, really good condition with boxes, 600+, w/o 500. guess my guy might be a little high...
