I bought my wife a Colt Pony Pocketlite .380 new in 1996 for CCW. She settled on a Smith 432PD instead. That puts me in posseion of the little Colt. :D . I carry a KelTec P32 as a BUG to my G27. I am thinking of utilizing the Colt as a BUG instead. My question is are their still parts available for the Colt .380 should I need them? Right now it is in the safe but is one nice little pistol. Thanks.

Parts are fairly scarce. However, a collector will give you upwards of $700 if yours is in excellent shape.

I had mine "melted" and polished by a great smith in North Carolina. It never gets shot. My wife took it and I have not seen it since. Its butter smooth and just a great little gun. But it has no collector value.

I have a Colt Mustang, purchased new in 1986. It's a great little gun, but with the prices steadily rising on them, and parts availabilty being rather limited, I thought it a good idea to semi-retire my Mustang as my BUG, for the time being. I replaced it with a KelTec P3AT which is more concealable and lightweight, plus I like the inherent safety of the DAO design over the SA trigger and thumb safety of the Mustang.

Since they weren't made very long they go for a premium now. One thing to watch out for is sometimes pins back out on them.
